31.juli at 14.00 p.m.
Well, right now, you have no idea what I have been up to.. I am sitting in a café looking straight at Gare du Nord. Paris´ big train station and waiting for my train to Cologne. And I have ordered a BIG Orangina and salad with avocado, mango, tomato, beans and shrimps. You see, I have been travelling since 5 o´clock in the morning, and you can say that I am a little exhausted!
I should have been on my way to Cologne right now. My all my train changes and underground not least, was so complicated that I didn’t´ make it. Unfortunately! My train left at 12:25, and I came to the station at 12:35... Not funny at all. And now after standing in a line for an hour buying a new dobbel prized ticket, and try to relax.
The two last weeks I have been to Courchevel here in France! In the alps. A music course named Musicalp, having lessons with Frans Helmerson! It was really great!
Even though the food was really bad at the hotel.. But anyway. Being in the mountains is just something I really appreciate. And I tried to go for as many walks that I could!
Yesterday two other students of Frans in Cologne and a girl from Israel took the cable cars two one of the tops! And it was just marvellous! I don’t know if that’s anything you can call a mountain.. ☺ 2738 meters high. And I think we even saw the ...
I love the alps! Just look at these pictures.
Before I came to Courchevel I played a concert in Bergen, in Troldsalen at Edvard Griegs home. Joachim Knoph played with me and the concert went well! It was great being in Bergen again. ☺
Even before Bergen my sister got married, with her dearest Jens. It was a really great day, I must say, and they were both soo beautiful. I stressed around a little too much I think, but I have so many good memories to look back to!
Now I will go back to Cologne (for the last time), and drive aaaaall my stuff back to Norway! ☺ And on Monday the next course begin. At Voksenåsen in Oslo. ☺
Summer is great! Have fun!

Köln!
Hello,
I have now been back in Köln for two weeks, and I must admit, I would love some vacation.. Like, just lay on a beach for a week without worrying about anything! A got a good taste of that in Spain, but it was only four days.. Too short! At least I know what I´m gonna do next summer..
I will be back in Norway in two weeks today! That will be great! So much to do before, though.. Chamber music, lots of practising, and the most worst; Packing! I need to pack all my stuff in boxes, so it´s just to put it in the car and drive it back in the end of July.
Back in Norway there wil be a lot of fixing for my sisters wedding on July 11th.
July 18, I´m gonna play a concert in Bergen again :) and two days later I will depart for a summer course in Courchevel with Frans Helmerson! I am sooo looking forward to it! :)
You will here more about that later.
I have had some visitors here in Köln these weeks. First my spanish friend, Sara. She was here in Köln for erasmus last semester, but is coming back next year, so she needed to find a flat.
On friday dear Ingvild went back to Norway after staying here for three days! Very nice! :)
The stupid thing is that a got sick on tuesday, and it doesn´t seem to go away fast enough..
But I will try my best! take it eaaaasy, you know :)
I know the vacation started in Norway some weeks ago, and I feel it in my body. I wish you all a great summer! Now its time to upload new energy, so use the time wisely; relax!! I know I will when I have a day or two.. ;)
Peace be with you all :)

WEDDING in MARO!! (SPAIN)
MARO
Im in Maro!! A little village 45 minutes from Malaga! Next to the Middle Sea, with a view to Africa when the fog is gone..
My dear friends Simon and Camilla is getting married today, and I´m gonna play!
And then there will be a party, until... who knows!? :)
75 guests from Norway have found the way here, and its all great people!
I´m gonna enjoy this day! :)
Until later, have fun! I know I will! :)
xox
The Wedding was soooo great! :) We danced and had fun until early sunday morning.. Think I was in bed around 6 a.m... Never been awake for so long before..
During the dinner a flamenco band came and entertained us. It was so fantastic! I had never seen anything like it before! I didn´t know so many of their guests before I came there. But this weekend was such a nice experience, and I will never forget it! :)
Hardanger!!
BERGEN!!
BERGEN and ULLENSVANG!!!
I was sooo lucky to participate in the Music Festival in Bergen and Hardanger! Really great!
I was there from thursday May 21th until June 1st! :)
We were about ten students from the Razumovsky academy who went there to play both solo and chamber music together! I played the Trout-quintet with the norwegians Anders Kjeldberg-Nilsson on violin, Ida Bryhn on viola and Christian Ihle Hadland on piano, and the really good double bass player Ha-Youg Jung from Korea.
We played it in Korskirken in Bergen on Wednesday 27th of May, and the day after I played the Arpeggione sonata by Schubert at Trodhaugen. A concert hall next to Edvard Griegs house! It was great! :)
I´m gonna put in some pictures afterwards!
What I had been looking for was going to Ullensvang, Hardanger!! The most beautiful place in this world!! :) The fjord in the middle of big, norwegian mountains..
Its breathtaking and no words can describe of it feels to be there!! :)
I played the same repertoaire here again, but with different pianists.. Unfortunatly Truls Mørk has been sick lately, so he couldnt come and play his concert. So I played Arpeggione with Håvard Gimse! He is a fantastic pianist! WOW!!
The Trout we were so lucky to play with Simon Trpceski. :) A really great pianist and person from Macedonia.
It was so great to be in Norway again! I saw my sister, who lives in Bergen and my mother came driving over the mountains to listen to my concerts. Also a lot of my friends who played in an orchestra (Kammer Allegria) came to Hardanger, and it was so good to see them!!
I also had a very cold experience.... I took a swim in the fjord.. Maximum 10 degrees...
Have fun looking at the fantatisc nature of Norway!

A lifechange story!
I have been so happy these days! But it´s difficult to explain why.. First of all I am just so thankful that I am here in Köln this year! It is really a lifechanging experience, and the things I have achieved here this year is things that I have been looking for for a long time.
I started playing the cello at the age of 5. In fact two days after my birthday (19th August), and since then, the cello has been a big fart of my life. My cello and I have been through everything together, and "he" has helped me a lot. But I haven´t felt that I have always been there for him.
Since I started I have always had a dream to become a cellist! And so my mother has helped me a lot. Driving me to lessons, orchestras and rehearsals. Without any help I would not have been where I am now.
There is one bad factor, though. I can´t say that I ever have been pushed to do something I haven´t wanted. Because that´s not what it is. But it can come to the point where you follow the leader, so to say. And you don´t think so much yourself anymore.
And when you have a talent for something, there´s not always so easy to see what happens and just thinking you do it from your heart.
I have never managed to think about a future without my cello, and I guess thats because that´s my way in life. This is the way God has given me.
I didn´t want to go to school when I was younger, because I wanted to play. Some people manage to do more things at one time, but I needed more time to be with my cello. As I, two years ago finally finished school, I was free to start studying. What a great feeling! I had reached to the point in life that I had been longing for. Music academies abroad were tempting, but so many things happened that a lot of deadlines pasted.. Something inside me told me that the right thing to do was to start in Oslo, Norway, with Truls Mørk, my cello-hero! So i did! And believe me, last year was great!! I love Truls! :)
Anyway, as the youngest girl in the house, I felt that the distant wasn´t long enough. I wanted to go away with my cello. So, I applied to three different ERASMUS-academies, and in June 08 I got the news that I could come to Frans this year!
You should have seen me! I was jumping, laughing and crying. A big wish coming true!!
As a christian I feel that God wanted this for me, and that makes me so happy!
Don´t think it was easy to come here in October. I have never ever felt so lonely in my entire life. I cried, was unhappy inside and all I wanted to was going home. I didn´t believe it was gonna be so hard. When you do an ERASMUS-year you don´t need to have so many subjects, so I didnt really get to know so many people.
Every story does have a happy ending. Even though this is not an end. This is infact the beginning.
I am having a great time. Its May, the sun is shining. I am playing in the orchestra, having concerts tonight and tomorrow. Get to know new people everyday! And I look forward to come home, spending time with myself!
I am me! And it is the first time I have felt this way! It´s like I got a new friend, and it is me.
God has opened my eyes. I see the great things in life, and the most important thing is: I know I´m gonna have a great life! Its all here waiting for me to grab it!
And the cello is with me, or in fact I am with the cello!
This summer I will move back to Oslo. I am very looking forward to having lessons with Truls again. And be with my friends. But I have also started to plan a lot of things for me and my cello!

KÖLN
I am now back in Cologne! :) The weather hasn´t been so good, but I´m hoping it soon will get warmer.
The weekend in Piteå was great! I was so lucky to go there because a few other participants couldn´t come.. It was a cello course with Frans Helmerson, my teacher this year, and I must say I enjoyed it very much!
Frans Helmerson is such a marvellous teacher, and it is such an honour to have the opportunity to study with him. There´s always a smile on my face after my lesson. It´s like he opens this musical door, and there´s only good things inside. Use your heart, make your own way, and make the music special so people wants to listen :)
Since we mostly play music that a lot of musicians have played before us, it is so important to first understand the music by learning it yourself, and not play it like you´ve heard it.
There´s so much to learn, but all the things you really want, is easy.. Or what? ;)
By the way, I did something new when I waited for my flight to departure from Berlin last week.. I actually practised on the airport. I asked if they had a room where I could practise, since I had to wait for so long. But the guy said I could just play anywhere.. Of course I didnt sit down and play in a big room with a lot of other people, who were not there for a concert. I guess someone could, but I just wouldn´t dare...
So I found a corner with benches and noone near, and played for half an hour. People were coming by, but I tried not to look. hehe.. At least I got to play. I think its terrible when I have a lesson, and I don´t have the opportunity to practise before. I dont know if I will do it again, though :)
Somehow I found travelling very satisfying! It is great to go to other places!
I will write more soon..
All the best!

Köln - Piteå (Sweden)
I am now on my way from Cologne to Piteå. It is such a long trip, cause I have to wait here in Berlin for 5 hours before I leave to Stockholm. In Stockholm I will have to wait another four hours..
I guess that how life is when you buy cheap tickets.. :) Me travelling by plane always means double expenses, because of my dear cello.. The only way he wants to travel is sitting next to me.. But I guess I couldnt send my boyfriend as a luggage! Well, I do indeed care about him more than beeing able to do that.. ;)
But anyway, travelling with a cello can cause a lot of different problems.. So far this trip has gone great! The check-in man knew exactly have to do it. And I could go through security without much of a problem. (they did check for exploses, though) hehe..
Sometimes it is nice to see how secure they are. It only means that it is safe to travel.
This weekend I will go Piteå and have lessons with my teacher, Frans Helmerson! I am very looking forward to it! My sister is also there :) Then we also have time to talk a little about her wedding this summer!
That is indeed the biggest happening in the Waaler Wærvågen-family this year!
It´s gonna be great!
I guess I will write more again, now i will try to watch a film or so.. :)
Have a great weekend!
